Troubleshooting

This page covers common problems that affect first-time ENP users.

I Can Open ENP But I Cannot Log In

Check the following:

  • you are using the correct URL for your environment
  • your username or email is correct
  • your password is current
  • your organization has granted you access to that environment

If the problem persists, contact your ENP administrator or support contact.

I Logged In But I Do Not See Any Design

Possible reasons:

  • no design has been shared with your account
  • you are in the wrong environment
  • you need to create a new design first

Next steps:

  • try Create a network design
  • confirm with your administrator that you should already have access to existing designs

I Created a Node But I Cannot See It

This is often caused by view settings rather than failed creation.

Check the following:

  • disable Hide non-connected nodes
  • zoom out or use the focus control
  • search for the node from the current layout tools
  • verify the node in the Control Window tables

I Am Lost Between Topology View And Control Window

Use this rule:

  • if you need visual context, stay in the Topology View
  • if you need detailed properties, filtering, or tables, open the Control Window

If needed, review Understand the interface.

The Imported Controller Topology Does Not Appear

Check the following:

  • the controller definition was created successfully
  • the controller endpoint, port, and credentials are correct
  • topology discovery completed without errors

If discovery succeeds but nothing is visible, try changing zoom level or layout and then verify imported objects in the Control Window.

A Simulation Result Does Not Make Sense

Common causes include:

  • the wrong design is loaded
  • expected nodes, links, or controllers are missing
  • traffic or routing assumptions are different from what you expect
  • the result is being read from the wrong table or view

Before escalating, verify the current design content and review the relevant simulation reference page under Network Digital Twin.
